X.H2E Single-phase Complete Solution (220-230V / 50Hz)

4” complete solution made of stainless steel ZDS hydraulic part, 2-wire single-phase encapsulated water-cooled with integrated electronic H2E motor and supply cable (different lengths available). These Complete Solutions, manufactured to ISO 9001 standards are available up to the maximum delivery of 15.000 l/h and 300 m head. Start and run capacitor is already integrated in the motor. The unique integrated electronics ensures protection against many possible problems that can occur in the installation to the H2E Complete Solution. The H2E Complete Solutions are designed to be used in the following applications: lifting, distribution, and pressurisation in civil and industrial water systems, garden irrigation systems, filling of pressure vessels and tanks, fire-fighting systems and washing systems, drainage systems, fountains supply.

Dry-running protection

The X.H2E Complete Solution completely protects itself against lack of water in the well or tank, without the aid of other equipment (probes, cables, sensors, control panels, etc.). In case of dry running, the pump automatically stops, to restart after a programmed cycle time.

Thermal protection

Thermal protection

The X.H2E Complete Solution is automatically protected against motor overheating. This can happen because of: the high temperature of the pumped liquid; when the minimum distance between the pump installed and the well bottom isn’ t respected; when the pump is installed in well/tanks bigger than 4” without a proper cooling system; when the pump works in shut-off. In such cases, the thermal protection system stops the pump, which automatically restarts as soon as the correct working temperature parameters are restored.

The X.H2E Complete Solution is completely protected against overload. In case the pump is partially or totally blocked, the H2E software, after some automatic restart attempts, makes the pump enter the stand-by mode.

Protection against low/high voltage

Protection against low/high voltage

The X.H2E Complete Solution is protected against low or high voltage, that can damage the motor. Low voltage can occur, for example, if the section of the power cable is not adequate considering the motor power and the distance between the plug and the pump itself; or if a generator is faulty or undersized for the pump. High voltage can occur with unstable supply network or with a faulty generator. In these situations, in order to avoid potential damages, the pump stops running. A number of consecutive automatic attempts verifies if the operating parameters are correct; if they are not, the pump enters stand-by mode.

Protection against too frequent start&stops

The X.H2E Complete Solution is automatically protected against leaks in the piping system (also when the pressure tank is exhausted or its membrane is defective, or when there is a defective pressure switch) and too frequent starts and stops (for example if the tank is of the incorrect size). In these cases, the pump automatically enters the stand-by mode.

Soft start

An electronic “soft start” reduces power consumption at the start of the pump. It will avoid annoying drops in power i.e.: flickering lights. Thanks to this function, energy will be saved and the pump will be more reliable. This will also extend the pump’s life. The X.H2E Complete Solution starts and works even in case of tension drops.

SLP:  voltage peaks protection

SLP: voltage peaks protection

SLP device protects the electronic inside the X.H2E Complete Solution against voltage peaks, which can be caused by electric abnormalities in the supply network or by other various electrical interferences. It reduces overvoltage, keeping the correct operating voltage range or it interrupts the power supply in case of very high peaks.

Information on a proper installation

  • The correct pump must be selected considering the delivery pressure and the characteristics of the plant.
  • During installation of a sumbersible pump, it is necessary to verify if the power supply voltage is correct.
  • The correct sumbersible pump operation is guaranteed when the power cable section is correctly selected, considering the motor power and the distance between the pump and the plug itself.
  • If you are using a generator with an internal combustion engine, it is necessary that the generator’ s power measured in kW (in continuous delivery) is three times the rated power in kW of the submersible pump. To guarantee a complete protection against voltage peaks, we recommend to install the SLP.
  • To guarantee automatic operation mode (the pump starts and stops when open and close the tap) it is necessary to connect a pressure switch and a pressure tank of the correct size, if the plant is not already provided with them.
  • We recommend to install a proper cooling jacket in installations bigger than 10 cm, to guarantee the correct motor cooling flow.
  • The maximum quantity of sand allowed in the pumped water is 120g/m³.
  • In order to reset a X.H2E Complete Solution entered the stand-by mode, disconnect the pump power supply, wait 10 seconds and then plug it in again.
  • The X.H2E Complete Solutions must NOT be used with a frequency inverter
